Now that we've almost closed out on this year's National Forum, I thought I'd take the time to highlight the amazing job done by our inspirational and keynote speakers.
Tim took us through the concept of his unconventional '5 Conversations' replacing the, often disliked and traditional performance review.
There was a definite 'buzz' in the room after the crowd listened to Tim explain the simple process of how a few conversations can eliminate the dreaded yearly review! It also highlighted that as a nation, we have lost the ability to talk openly and honestly with our leaders which isn't conducive to a healthy relationship in our workplace.
While many people are skeptical of new approaches, I can certainly vouch for Tim's process after it was implemented in our own company. Our '5 Conversations' process has given us the opportunity to connect with our leaders and focus on our own strengths and goals, and it's no longer something to be worried or cautious of.
The support that was given to the unfortunate employee's of this iconic brand was second to none. The transition plan put in place when the decision was made to close its doors, was paramount to assist staff in moving on and ensuring they were secure in the path to their new life journey.
