October saw some great events happening across the Roundtable in Queensland. Included in the "must do" list was our Supply Chain Working Group at the Woolworths' Brisbane Distribution Centre, Larapinta.

Our host, Bjorn Ohlsson and his team ran attendees through Woolworths' recently implemented employee engagement program; Customer 1st Champion (C1C).  Tome Petreski, C1C facilitator impressed the attendees with the scope and quality of the program, along with Woolworths' senior leaders' commitment to improving employee engagement. Attendees were also treated to a sneak peek at the latest innovations scheduled to be included in the new National Distribution Centre in Melbourne, which is on track to be fully operational in the next 6 months. 

The Centre will house some of the most sophisticated instrument control and automation systems in Australasia.
