Supply Chain

SCRt primary focus looks at the complex network and relationships between a company and its suppliers to produce and distribute products or services to customers.

Supply chain management has become increasingly more important in the past decade and will continue to do so as consumers require shorter lead times and more flexibility. Optimisation of the supply chain is a crucial process to lower cost and increase product cycles and speed.

Companies that join the SCRt are striving to achieve these goals by learning how to excel at identifying constraints and optimising the supply chain.  They are also looking into the value of developing suppliers and other external sources in the overall chain creating greater overall value.

The SCRt provides members with the opportunity to network with like-minded professionals at events such as Roundtable Meetings, Common Interest Work Groups, National Forums, International Specialist Workshops and Site Visits.
